Barry Pettle has a score to settle!

Project

Barry Petal is in the garden, and he feels full of trouble! Jump around with Barry's plant pot and break out, all so Barry can drive away on Route 66.

There are puzzles to solve, and much greater feedback introduced this jam, all an important part of the games feel.

Evaluation

This project was made over two days for the Global Game Jam 2023, for the first time development was completed in person, all inside of a friends kitchen. Being close together had its advantages, we found it more fun to hang out, drink, and share out progress to each other over the two days.

As a theme, we always seem to make interesting or funny characters for the game Jams, and this time was no different, with Barry being such a hardened and cool guy.
